Plain summary
We collect the bare minimum needed to run leaderboards and let friends find each other. No tracking pixels, no third-party ad networks, no selling data — ever.
What we collect
- A handle — a unique nickname per device like
goldenTiger4729. You can edit it once it's claimed. - Optional email — only if you link one to carry your handle to another device. Email is stored hashed and used only for magic-link sign-in. No marketing email.
- Game records — every match you finish while signed in: the game played, the result, the opponent's handle, the date, the turn count. Used to compute leaderboards and head-to-head stats.
- Device identifier — a random string generated on first launch. Used to recognise the same device across launches. NOT your device's IMEI, MAC address, or any OS-level ID.
What we do NOT collect
- Your real name, address, or phone number.
- Location data.
- Contacts or other social-graph data.
- Microphone, camera, or photo-library data.
- Advertising identifiers.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Patt Krida is meant for all ages, but we deliberately do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we never ask for real names, email is optional, and there is no chat / friend search outside of handle-based opt-in, the surface for accidental child-data collection is minimal. If you believe we have collected a child's data in error, email us at krida@vagambhrini.com and we will delete it within 7 days.
How long we keep your data
- While your account is active, indefinitely — your streaks and stats are part of your identity in the app.
- One year after your last sign-in, we delete the email link and convert the account back to device-only.
- You can delete everything at any time from the app's Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and propagates within 30 days.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for any purpose. The hosting provider (Linode) sees encrypted traffic only. If we ever add an analytics provider, we'll update this page first and the data sent will be aggregated and anonymous.
Your rights (GDPR / DPDP)
You have the right to:
- Export your data (Settings → Export).
- Correct your data (just edit your profile).
- Delete your account (Settings → Delete account).
- Ask us not to sync your matches to the server (Settings → Offline only).
