Why we built it
These boards aren't curiosities. They live on temple steps that are still walked over, on cotton cloths folded into household chests, on courtyards swept fresh each morning. The traditions are unbroken — but the physical boards travel poorly, and a child whose grandmother knew Daḥḍī by heart often only meets it once she pulls out the cloth at a wedding.
Patt Krida is the same boards on the same canonical rules, ready when she is. Offline, in her own language, with mascots her grandmother might have drawn.
